Adire Oodua Textile Hub is a charity arm of Africa Fashion Week London.
It is our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project in Africa.
The Adire Oodua Hub is an educational resource and facility dedicated to the preservation of traditional Adire textile manufacturing techniques.
The Hub raises awareness and understanding of the sustainability of Adire production through creative educational programs for women, youth and children.
Participatory learning is the basis of the Adire teaching model.
Workshops, courses, events and special programs at the Hub enable creative ingenuity and encourage innovation and leadership.
Through this engagement, professionals and novices create a positive social and environmental impact.
This hub unites the global creative arts community, operating as a repository for Adire indigenous textile designs found in Nigeria.
It functions as an innovative design center, a development, teaching and learning ecosystem guided by tradition and sustainability.
